Overnight Oats Recipe

16 oz Mason Jar with leakproof lid

16 oz Mason Jar with leakproof lid

Quaker Oats Old Fashion 3/4 cup

Water 3/4 cup

Honey 1 tsp

Cinnamon 1/2 tsp

Fresh Blueberries 1 TBSP

Shake well refrigerate overnight

before eating:  add fresh raspberries or diced apple and granola. Shake well and serve.

Notes

Lots of variations:

– I have been playing with the water amount and find the I prefer a little more than 3/4 cup of water. I prefer water and the oatmeal makes it’s own milk.

– Adding frozen fruit in the morning then packing it in my bag and taking to work for a quick, cold and potent snack
