Leaving for the islands in four days. First stop is Oahu to see family December 8-10th and then on to Kauai. Hiking trip is planned for December 12th-14th. This will be my first hiking trip to the Napali Coast. I had planned a previous trip in 2018 however it cancelled for similar reasons. Now due to the snow I am reconsidering what to carry in my backpack. Will I actually be able to hike this time or will they close the trail? Is it possible to find someone to hike with? Can you buy a snow shovel in Hawaii?
