This blog will document as my friend and I prepare to enter the Pacific Cup race from San Francisco to Hawaii. December 2020 we bought a 1988 Beneteau Oceanis 43 sailboat that needs more than a little work. We will be outfitting this to meet the requirements for the race. In addition we will take you through our development as we improve our sailing skills as we prepare for this open water adventure.   I am expecting some good caught on video moments that are should to get a laugh.
