Review: Seek Outside Silex Tent and Nest.

Stars: 4.5/5 Highly recommend.
Used this on my hike to Kalalau Beach on the infamous Kalalau Trail and Crawlers Ledge. Seek Outside recommended setting up and breaking down prior to using. Really glad they did and I did. It took about 30 minutes to setup the first time, needing to figure out the proper length of the cordage and stake placement. Used my own trek poles however the first poles were not compatible. Too tall. Second pair were perfect. I would have been in a bad place if I had not set it up while on the mainland.
Easy setup, left the nest in prior to the hike and it paid off. No insects or bugs inside. Really like having a covered area to stow my gear but not having it inside my sleeping area. Has good airflow as it is easy to adjust the zipper less doors. The Nest is small and it wold be tight for two people.
Did not have any wet or inclement weather so cannot comment on how water tight or wind tolerant. No zippers is a definite plus but the seams must be sealed: Seek Outside will do this at a price or they will provide the sealer and you can do it yourself. Not a very difficult process.
Specifics:
